1. Scope of Application

These Terms of Service apply to the News-Circuit application, an automated video production and publishing pipeline operated for internal use to create and publish news videos on platforms including YouTube and TikTok.

2. Access and Authorization

Access to News-Circuit is exclusively reserved for authorized users. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited. Login credentials must be kept confidential and must not be shared with third parties.

3. TikTok API Usage

News-Circuit uses the TikTok API to upload video content to TikTok on behalf of the authorized account holder. By using this feature, you confirm that you are the rightful owner of the TikTok account and that all uploaded content complies with TikTok's Terms of Service and TikTok's Community Guidelines. News-Circuit does not store TikTok user credentials beyond the OAuth tokens required for API access.

4. Third-Party Platforms

News-Circuit enables uploading content to YouTube and TikTok. When using these features, the respective terms of service of the platforms apply:

The operator of News-Circuit assumes no liability for content distributed via third-party platforms. Responsibility for uploaded content lies with the authorized user.

5. Intellectual Property and Content

All content generated by News-Circuit (texts, images, videos) is based on publicly available news sources and AI-generated media. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that no third-party copyrights are infringed. The license terms of image sources (e.g., Pexels) must be observed.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

News-Circuit is provided "as is." The operator makes no warranty regarding uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Liability for damages arising from the use of the application is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

7. Changes to These Terms

The operator reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be announced within the application.

8. Governing Law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply. To the extent permitted by law, the operator's registered location is agreed as the place of jurisdiction.
